Pragniemy poinformować, że zgodnie z zapisem Rozporządzenia Ministra Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Wsi z dnia 19 grudnia 2008 r. (Dz. U. nr 235, poz.1604) z dniem 01.01.2009 roku Instytut Włókien Naturalnych (IWN) oraz Instytut Roślin i Przetworów Zielarskich (IRiPZ) zostały połączone tworząc nową jednostkę o nazwie  Instytut Włókien Naturalnych i Roślin Zielarskich (IWNiRZ).
Jednocześnie informujemy, że powołano Prof. dr hab Grzegorza Spychalskiego jako Kierownika oraz dr Marię Władykę-Przybylak jako Zastępcę Kierownika Instytutu Wlókien Naturalnych i Roślin Zielarskich i pana Dr Waldemara Buchwalda jako Kierownika Oddziału Roślin Zielarskich IWNiRZ w Poznaniu.

This is to inform that beginning from the January 1, 2009, the Institute of Natural Fibres (INF), following the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of December 19, 2008, has merged with the Institute of Medicinal Plants (IMP) and has formed a new institute named the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants (INF&MP).
Prof. Dr Grzegorz Spychalski and Dr Maria Wladyka - Przybylak have been appointed for the position of the General Management of the new institute. Dr Waldemar Buchwald has been appointed for the position of the Head of the Branch of Medicinal Plants of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants in Poznan.
